Designated agent

Filing a takedown notice

If you believe content on Blab infringes your copyright, send the designated agent a notice containing all six statutory elements (17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3)):

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
2. Identification of the infringing material and where it is on Blab — the blab or replay URL.
3. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

On receiving a complete notice we remove or disable access to the material promptly and notify the person who posted it.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send the designated agent a counter-notice with: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief the removal was a mistake; and your name, address, phone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of your federal district court (or any district in which Blab may be found, if you are outside the US). We forward counter-notices to the complainant; unless they file a court action, the material is restored in 10–14 business days.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that attract repeated upheld takedown notices are suspended.
