Who may use Blab

You must be at least 13 years old to use Blab, or at least 16 if you live in the European Economic Area. You confirm this when you create your account, and we rely on that confirmation. One account per person. Do not impersonate anyone — a person, an organisation, or another Blab account — and do not misrepresent who you are when you appear on camera.

What a blab is

A blab is a live video conversation with four seats. On a public blab, anyone with the link can watch, chat, and take an empty seat — there is no waiting room and no host approval step. If you take a seat you are broadcasting yourself, live, to everyone watching. Hosts can remove anyone from a seat at any time, lock seats, and end the blab.

Recording and replays

A host may enable recording for a blab. When recording is enabled you are told before you take a seat, and taking the seat is your consent to being recorded. The host may publish a replay of a recorded blab. If you appear in a replay and want it taken down, use the report feature ("Remove a recording I appear in") — we handle these requests within 72 hours.

Your conduct

The Community Guidelines are part of these terms. We may remove content, remove you from seats, close public seats to your account pending review, or suspend your account platform-wide for violating them. Suspension blocks taking seats, chatting, and creating blabs, and removes you from any camera you are on.

Copyright

We respond to copyright takedown notices as described on the DMCA page, and we suspend repeat infringers.

Disclaimer and liability

Blab is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Live conversations are made by the people in them; we do not pre-screen them and we are not responsible for what participants say or show. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or the service is limited to one hundred US dollars.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes belong to the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
